Osmel Sousa, national director of Miss Venezuela Organization, talks about Miss Universe 2011 in a interview made by Portada Venevision. Sousa, and Miss Venezuela Vanessa Goncalves, expressed their dismay against Miss Universe Organization and current Miss Universe Leila Lopes.
According to Sousa, Miss Venezuela should place higher than Top 16. He also added that the current Miss Universe Leila Lopes has belly and does not have the best body in the competition.
The 64-year-old beauty and pageant guru also noted that Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup gave the best answer to her question, and should be declared winner of Miss Universe 2011 contest.
He also said that Miss Kosovo Aferdita Dreshaj is one of his favorites.
Meanwhile, 25-year-old Goncalves said via phone interview that she did not cried when not called in the Top 10, but telling that her journey in Brazil is not pleasant and "they made her life miserable".

Something Miss Angola, now the reigning Miss Universe, does not have is silicone! Take that Miss Venezuela with your 1980s pageant hair. And Miss Philippines did not give the best answer. She did not give a measured and thoughtful answer, she gave a reactionary answer which is exactly what they do not want in a Miss Universe. Sour grapes from all of you!
Miss Philippines may not have the best answer but she is the only one that did not have an interpreter. If you watch the interviews before the preliminaries other candidates in the top 5 positions were answering in english. Miss philippines did not even have enough time to think about her answers so her answer came from the heart, being a good daughter of God she spontaneously thought about the response.
her answer was not reactionary. She thought of God as her first love because that how she felt and that is how she was raised.Your opinion is the one that is reactionary just like my opinion on yours right now, now thats reactionary.
Seems to me Mr. Sosa has some very deep seeded negative issues with the negra latinas, which he needs to get straightened out real soon.
We have yet to see even one negra or piel oscura latina win any of these competitions, and I'm sure he and the rest of the judges could care less. Hats off to Ms. Leila Lopes, for keeping her head held high despite the negative crap, coming from those in the latino community who ought to know better than this.
