PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Republica Dominicana Universo 2012 is Carola Duran!


SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic - 25-year-old Carlina Duran (aka Carola Duran) was crowned Miss Republica Dominicana Universo 2012 in a pageant finale held on April 17. The beauty from La Vega stands 1.84 m. tall and will represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant.

First runner-up is Dulcita Lieggi while Caroline Hawa named second runner-up. Alondra Pena and Luz Quezada completed the Top 5.

Among the special guest is Miss Universe 2011 Leila Lopes.
