PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Peru 2012 winners announced!


Twenty-three year-old Cindy Mejia from Lima and Melissa Paredes, 20, from Callao, were the grand winners of Miss Peru 2012 pageant held at the Real Felipe fortress in Callao. 

Mejia, who was named Miss Universo Peru 2012, stands 1.74 m tall and will represent Peru in the Miss Universe competition in December; while Paredes, who was named Miss Mundo Peru 2012 will represent the country at the Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia.

Twenty gorgeous women competed for the title.
