Miss Progress International 2012 pageant will be held in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, on September 17 to October 9, 2012. The second edition will be organized by the Associazione Culturale In Progress in collaboration with the prestigious local university.
Giusy Nobile, president of the nonprofit association based in San Giorgio Ionico (TA), and Giuseppe Borrillo, director of Miss Progress International, will reach their contacts in China to discuss the final details of the second edition of the event with programs dedicated to the promotion of culture and tourism.
Wuhan will host a three week event in which the Ambassadors of Progress will dip into the ancient history of this part of the great People’s Republic of China.
"Despite the enforced break in 2011," says Giusy Nobile, "our efforts in organizing the first edition of Miss Progress International have been recognized at all latitudes and this is their real recognition."

The university is known for being one of the most coveted by students of medicine, engineering and many other scientific and humanistic disciplines, with nearly 50,000 members and 3,000 teachers, a library of over 13 million volumes and an advanced campus.

"In Wuhan," says Giuseppe Borrillo, "we will renew the union between our event and the promotion of the territory, successfully tested in 2010, when we brought the Ambassadors of Progress and their companions to discover the artistic treasures of Puglia and its cultural and culinary traditions."
In a few days, therefore, Wuhan will host the press conference with the announcement of the program of the event, which will take place from September 17th to October 9th this year.
