CHIZMAXX: Hollywood director Ang Lee to make film adaptation of 'Life of Pi'; Tobey Maguire and unknown Indian teen cast!

Hollywood director Ang Lee will make a film adaptation of the award-winning 2001 bestseller 'Life of Pi' by Yann Martel.
The director behind The Ice Storm, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Brokeback Mountain will make another remarkable movie about a titular boy who is stranded in a lifeboat on the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger, and other wild animals.

Meanwhile, an unknown 17-year-old Indian teen named Suraj Sharma cast as the younger Pi while Tobey Maguire will play the man interviewing the adult Pi, which will be played by Irrfan Khan, about his experience.

The movie will be shot in 3-D and set to hit the theaters on December 2012.
