CHIZMAXX: Michael Shannon cast as General Zod in Superman reboot!


American TV actor Michael Shannon has been cast as General Zod in the reboot 2012 movie "Superman".
His character will play a big role in the movie, as he will become the Man of Steel's antagonist.

“Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role.”said Director Zack Snyder in a release from the studio.

Shannon will join the cast of Superman reboot together with Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), and British actor Henry Cavill (Clark Kent, Superman).
