Although Kate Middleton show her beauty and elegance with her Sarah Burton-Alexander McQueen gown, she was edged by her younger sister Pippa as the royal wedding's "true star".

The 27 year-old Pippa Middleton also wore an Alexander McQueen gown during the wedding rites, which critics described her as a "silent stealer" of the show. Pippa served as the maid of honor to her sister/ princess/ Duchess of Cambridge.

At the evening festivities, Pippa again "stole" the show from her sister-princess by wearing a magnificent emerald green gown designed and made by Alice Temperley.
"I was honored that Ms. Pippa Middleton asked me to design her dress for the Royal Wedding evening reception," Temperley said to People. "Pippa was a delight to work with and knows exactly what she likes. She loved the green color, which looks great on her skin tone. The dress was designed especially for her with a fantastic open back and a full skirt for dancing in."
On the other hand, The Daily Beast quoted about Pippa's stunning presentation, "Indeed, Britain gained more than a new duchess today— it also gained a new style icon."
