PAGEANT UPDATES: April Lufriu named Mrs. America 2011!

The new Mrs. America 2011, April Lufriu

April Lufriu, 41,  from Florida was crowned Mrs. America 2011 in a pageant finale held at Greenbrier Resort, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia on April 14th.

She is a business owner, model and dental hygienist. She is also a leader for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, as she and her three children are affected by retinitis pigmentosa.

Runners-up include Mrs. Hawaii Lara Foroimoana, 1st runner-up, and Mrs. Colorado Janell Ames, 2nd runner-up. The remaining top six were Mrs. California Jennifer Glava, Mrs. Minnesota Yasmine Ryback, and Mrs. Georgia Tiffany Marshall.
