She won the title Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2011, which made her worthy to represent her country at the Miss Universe 2011 competition in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on September 12, 2011.
Supsup, who was considered as "beauty and brains in one package", and once dubbed as Stefania Fernandez (Miss Universe 2009) look-alike, graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines College of Architechture. She is also the top notcher in the Architecture Licensure Exam.
Meanwhile, another titleholder Diane Necio, 18, was named as Binibining Pilipinas-International 2011. She will be representing the Philippines at the Miss International 2011 in Chengdu, China later this year.
Filipina-Spanish beauty Isabella Manjon later named as Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2011. It is still unclear if she will represent her country in any international competition. Some said that she might represent her country at the Miss Tourism International to be held annually in Malaysia every New Year's Eve.
Also named during the awarding ceremonies held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City were Janine Tugonon, 1st runner-up, and Mary Jean Lastimosa, 2nd runner-up.
The other candidates who made it in the Top 15 are: Patricia Tumulak; Ma. Kristina Marasigan; Diana Arevalo; Queenierich Rehman; Sabrine Al-Tawil; Wendy Lucas; Luzelle Felipe; Kathleen Subijano; Jenn Roe Gubat; and Sarah Nicole Clenci.
The Best in Swimsuit went to Queenierich Rehman; Best in Long Gown was Luzelle Felipe; and Face of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 was Angela Ong.
Binibining Pilipinas 2011 was hosted by Derek Ramsay and KC Concepcion together with past winners Miriam Quiambao (1999 Miss Universe 1st runner-up and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe) and Precious Lara Quigaman (2005 Miss International and Bb. Pilipinas-International).
Sam Milby and Matteo Guidicelli serenaded last year's winners: Maria Venus Raj (Miss Universe 4th runner-up and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe), Krista Kleiner (Bb. Pilipinas-International), and Czarina Gatbonton (Bb. Pilipinas-World).
Karylle, Sitti, Camille Velasco, and Marie Digby also performed that night.
