CHIZMAXX: Filipino actor Matt Evans now okay after car accident!


Matt Evans, the Kapamilya young actor, met an accident in Quezon City early morning on Friday, May 27.

The former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition housemate reportedly driving his Toyota Innova SUV in Project 4 when his car rammed into a Meralco post after dodging a woman crossing the street, according to the statement released by Thess Gubi, Star Magic publicist. Although unhurt, he was brought to a hospital after experiencing dizziness. The actor is on stable condition.

"Matt is OK and was advised to rest at home after he met an accident. Thank you for your concern.", according to the official statement of Star Magic.

But according to an account from a witness who was interviewed by ABS-CBN, Matt Evans was with an unidentified female companion when the accident happened. Evans also looked drunk, the witness added.

If found guilty, Evans will be subjected to criminal case of reckless imprudence resulting to damage of property.
