Tony Romo and Candice Crawford exchanged their wedding vows on Saturday evening at the historic Arlington Hall mansion at Lee Park in Dallas.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 31, married the former beauty queen and KDAF-TV anchor after a two year relationship. The 24-year-old was crowned Miss Missouri USA 2008.
Guests dined on “lots of man food”, including short ribs and pizza. Each attendee was given a monogrammed custom gift bag that included: a Neiman Marcus gift card, Great One Cookies, Mix of the Month CD by DJ Lucy Wrubel, mini bottle of Moet champagne, Dude Sweet Chocolates, gourmet popcorn, chips and salsa, pecans, bottled water, and an assortment of beauty and body products.
Among those witnessing the marital vows were Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, and the bride’s actor brother Chace Crawford.
Jones had to get a waiver from the NFL owners to attend the wedding because players and team officials have not been allowed to communicate since the last collective bargaining agreement lapsed, forcing a lockout. He said: “I’ve gotten special permission. I’m proud of him. He’s got the best end of this deal.”
Also on hand were past and present Cowboy players Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austi.
