PAGEANT UPDATES: Evalina van Putten replaces Monifa Jansen as Miss Curacao Universe 2011!

The Miss Curacao Universe organizers has chosen Evalina van Putten to replace Monifa Jansen as Miss Universe Curacao 2011 since the original winner did not meet the age requirements stipulated by the Miss Universe Organization.


Nineteen-year-old Evalina van Putten is first runner-up in Miss Curacao Universe 2011 and previously expected to represent her small country at Miss Intercontinental. She stands 1.84 m. and will represent Curacao in the Miss Universe 2011 to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

Meanwhile, the organizers decided that Monifa Jansen should attend the Miss Intercontinental pageant instead.
