Twenty-one year-old Natalie Vertiz was crowned as Miss Universe Peru 2011, one of the titles of Miss Peru 2011 pageant, in the national pageant event held on June 25 at Real Felipe Fortress Convention Center in Callao, Peru. The 1.83 m. tall beauty from Lima will be representing her country at Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held at Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

Vertiz was crowned by her predecessor, Giuliana Cevallos, Miss Universe Peru 2010 and Miss Continente Americano 2010.

On the other hand, another winner of the said pageant was Odilia Pamela Garcia, who received the title Miss World Peru 2011. Garcia, who stands 1.84 m. tall, will represent her country at Miss World 2011 scheduled to be held in London later this year.
Garcia, 24 previously represented Peru in Miss Earth 2007 and the province of Girona in Miss Spain 2007.
Runners-up include: Miss Loreto, Nicole Faveron (1st); Miss Amazonas, Giselle Patron (2nd); Miss Ciudad Lima, Cindy Mejia (3rd); and Miss Trujillo, Estefany Bueno (4th).
The said event was broadcasted by Panamericano Television.
