PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Turkey 2011 official results!

Melisa Asli Pamuk was crowned Miss Turkey 2011 in a pageant finale held on June 2, 2011 at the TIM Show Centre in Istanbul. The 20-year-old beauty stands 1.76m. and she will represent Turkey in Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil this September. 


This is the first time that the grand winner will go to compete in Miss Universe. In recent years, the grand winner  usually compete in Miss World.

On the other hand, named Miss Turkey World 2011 was Gizem Karaca. The 19 year old beauty stands 1.75m. and she will represent Turkey in Miss World 2011 in England this November. 

Merve Saribas and Elif Korkmaz were placed 3rd and 4th respectively. Named as Miss Turkey Earth, Saribas will represent their country in Miss Earth 2011 to be held in Pattaya, Thailand while Korkmaz, who was named Miss Turkey International will represent Turkey at Miss International 2011.

The event was sponsored by L’Oréal Paris.
