Twenty-year-old Chelsae Durocher of Tecumseh, Ontario (photo) vested 55 other ladies as she was crowned as Miss Universe Canada 2011 on June 25 a Jane Mallet Theater in Ontario. She is a 3rd year student at the University of Windsor, studying in the Drama in Education and Community Program. She is fluent in both French and English and one day hopes to be an elementary school teacher.
Durocher, who stands 1.75 m. tall, will represent her country at Miss Universe 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.
First runner-up was Elisha Sahota while the 2nd runner-up is Brooke Boyle. Emily Kiss and Krystal Beddard were named 3rd and 4th runners-up respectively.
The rest of the Top 12 were Ivanna Tarnowecky, Lindsay Willier, Pablita Thomas, Celine LaFlamme, Victoria Volkova, Maxime Mastrojoseph, and Kim Savard.
