PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Universe Ireland 2011 is Aoife Hannon!


Nineteen-year-old Aoife Hannon from Listowel, Kerry County was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2011 in a pageant event held on June 10 at the Burlington Hotel in Ireland's capital, Dublin.

The new Irish beauty queen stands 1.78 m. tall and will represent Ireland at Miss Universe 2011 Pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

Hannon was crowned by her predecessor, Rozanna Purcell. Purcell is a top 10 finalist at Miss Universe 2010.

Purcell is also the current World's Prettiest Woman Alive 2010.
