Andi Eigenmann, who is playing one of the lead roles in ABS-CBN's teleserye "Minsan lang kita Iibigin", is almost five months pregnant, her mother confirmed Wednesday, June 29.
"I just want to tell everyone that, yes, it's true, my daughter is pregnant," said actress Jacklyn Jose, mother of Eigenmann.

Jose was also quoted as saying: "Hindi madali pero kailangan kong tanggapin kasi anak ko siya at mahal ko siya. Wala namang ibang tutulong sa kanya kundi ako at ang kanyang pamilya. [It is hard to accept the truth, yet still she is my daughter and I love her. There's no one who would help her except her family.]"
She also admitted, according to radio and television reports, that she got hurt when she learned about her daughter's condition.
Jose said she went straight to church after learning about it.
When Jose was asked who fathered Eigenmann's child, she said, "It is her first boyfriend who fathered the child."

Meanwhile, the identity of Andi Eigenmann's first boyfriend is teen actor Albie Casiño, but Jose denied that Casiño is the father.
