PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Singapore Universe 2011 is Valerie Lim!

Twenty-five year-old Valerie Lim (center) , a behavior therapist from Singapore City, was crowned Miss Singapore Universe 2011 in a ceremony held at Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel. She was crowned by her predecessor, Tania Lim.



Valerie, who was a semi-finalist in Miss Earth 2009, will represent Singapore at Miss Universe 2011 pageant to held at Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12.

First runner-up was Amanda Leong (right), while Shin Juay (left) was named 2nd runner-up.
