PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Universe Portugal 2011 finally crowned!


Twenty-two year-old Laura Gonçalves was crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2011 in a pageant finale held on Friday, July 29 at the Hotel Miragem in Cascais. She will represent Portugal at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, next September.


Gonçalves, who stands 1.75 m tall, was born in Venezuela to Portuguese parents.

The Miss Universe Portugal contest is a joint organization between Gaeta Promoções e Eventos (organizers of Miss Brazil Universe) and NIU Sistemas.
