PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss World Denmark 2011 is Maya Olesen!


Maya Celeste Padillo Olesen, 20, (photo) was crowned Miss World Danmark 2011 during a ceremony held at First Kong Frederik Hotel in Copenhagen on August 20, by Lisa Lents, director of the Miss and Mister of Denmark Organization and national director of Miss World in Denmark. Maya will represent Denmark at the Miss World 2011 pageant to be held in London’s Earls Court on November 6th.


The beauty from Christiansfeld stands 1.75 m. tall.

Two beauty queens and three former Mr. Denmark representatives attended the event as special guests and judges: Lisa Lents (National Director Denmark, Miss World Denmark 2008), Sandra Vester (Miss Earth Denmark 2010/Miss Europe Denmark 2006), Morten Krogh Jeppesen (Mr. Universe Model Denmark 2011), Anders Houmann (Mr. Universe Model Denmark 2010), Kristian Greiff (Mr. Denmark Manhunt International 2010).
