PAGEANT UPDATES: Lindsay Japal wins Miss Cayman Islands 2011!


Lindsay Japal (seated, center) has been crowned Miss Cayman Islands 2011. The 23 year old from George Town won the coveted prize in front of a packed audience at the Lion’s Centre late on Saturday night, September 24. 

Runners up were Janelle Muttoo and Crystal Tomlinson. 

By winning the pageant, Japal receives a $70,000 scholarship at UCCI plus a brand new car. The beauty will also represent the tiny islands at Miss World 2011 pageant to be held in London on November 6.
