Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga was named one of the judges in the 60th Miss Universe Pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In a press statement, US network NBC, Donald Trump and Miss Universe Organization President Paula Shugart announced that Salonga, together with 6 others, will judge the pageant.
Joining Salonga will be Brazilian racing driver Helio Castroneves, journalist Connie Chung, supermodel Isabeli Fontana, actresses Vivica Fox and Adrienne Maloof, and Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega.
Andy Cohen and Natalie Morales will be hosting the event.
Joining them in the hosting duties will be Jeannie Mai and Miss USA 2004 Shandi Finnessy.
Brazilian wonders Bebel Gilberto and Claudia Leitte to perform during evening gown and swimsuit competitions respectively.
The live coverage of the Miss Universe beauty pageant will be aired at NBC and other international broadcasters.
