SHOWBIZ POLL RESULTS for October: Do you think Miss Tourism Queen International (MTQI) Pageant should be demoted as a Grand Slam Pageant?


BeautyMania.Biz has recently demoted Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 as part of Beauty Royals - BeautyMania.Biz's term for Grand Slam Pageants. Read the related story.

Meanwhile, here are the results of the showbiz poll regarding the demotion of the MTQI pageant. 360 people has responded:

  • 52.78% believed that MTQI pageant should be demoted as Grand Slam pageant because it loses the credibility as world-class beauty pageant.
  • 30.56% from the respondents, on the other hand, does not recognize MTQI as a grandslam pageant ever since it was established in 2004. Note: Only BeautyMania.Biz and another pageant site Global Beauties that recognize MTQI as part of the Grand Slam.
  • However, 16.67% of the respondents believed that MTQI should be given a chance to regain its credibility and not to be demoted as part of the Grand Slam.

Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 will be held in Xi'an, China with no definite date as of today. Lack of Sponsorship and Participants are the main cause of the postponement of the said event.
