PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Morocco 2012 is Sara Moatamid!


EL JADIDA, Morocco - 19-year-old Sara Moatamid (photo) has been crowned as Miss Morocco 2012 in a pageant held in El Jadida, February 4th.

The beauty from Magreb will represent Morocco at Miss World 2012 to be held in Ordos, China on August 18.

Miss Morocco pageant features young Moroccan women competing in evening gowns and final question, but strictly no swimsuit.

Last Moroccan candidate to compete in Miss World was in 1968.
