PAGEANT UPDATES: Mister South Africa 2012 is Andrew Govender!


The new Mister South Africa 2012 is Andrew Govender! 

Govender, who is an Actuarial Quantitative Analyst and a part time model, defeated 11 other finalist during the pageant finale held at Silverstar Casino Saturday evening, March 17th. He is expected to represent South Africa at the next edition of Mister World until the new Mister SA has been chosen in 2013.

Zane Mandisi Maqetuka and William Heydenrych finished second and third respectively.

According to the Mister SA website, Govender is a proud South African Indian who loves to play cricket, soccer, swimming, and other sports. He's also a certified honor student and a scholar.
