PAGEANT UPDATES: Former Miss Universe Sweden 2009 Renate Cerljen appointed as Miss Earth Sweden 2011!


Twenty-three year-old former Miss Universe Sweden 2009 Renate Cerljen of Staffanstorp has been chosen by the Miss Universe Sweden Organization to represent Sweden in the Miss Earth 2011 competition to be held in Pattaya, Thailand this November. 


Cerljen, who was a semi-finalist in Miss Universe 2009 competition and top 5 at the Miss Beauty of the World 2009, was awarded the title Miss Earth Sweden 2011. She stands 1.75 m. tall.

Miss Universe Sweden Organization has recently brought the franchise of Miss Earth that was previously held by Roberto Strindstedt.
