Nineteen year-old Amanda Victoria Vilanova Pérez was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2011 at the national pageant held on June 9, 2011 at the Alejandro Tapia y Rivera Theater in San Juan. The beauty from San Juan, who stands 1.65 m. tall, will represent Puerto Rico at the 61st Miss World pageant on November 6 in London, England.
First runner-up was Janelee Chaparro, representing Barceloneta while Coral del Mar Casanova Calcerrada from San Sebastián named second runner-up. Completing the Top 5 are Xiomara Vélez Rivera, Miss Caguas, and Tessy Lidell Miss Jayuya.
Semifinalists were Yaritza Llanos (Miss Canóvanas), Tatiana Paola Marrero (Miss Bayamón), Zarysma Marrero (Miss Naranjito), Catalina Morales (Miss Gurabo), Elizabeth Pacheco (Miss Río Grande), Marielasofía Pennet (Miss Dorado) and Victoria Zambrano (Miss Adjuntas).
Twenty-two contestants competed for the title.
