Eurovision 2012: Oxana Fedorova and Monika Lewczuk to participate (?) |
There is a possibility that two beauty queens might participate the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
According to our sources, former beauty queen Oxana Fedorova and current Miss Supranational 2011 Monika Lewczuk expresses their interest to be part of prestigious song contest in Europe in 2012.
Fedorova, 33, previously released her debut album "On the Edge of Love" this year. Prior to her debut album release, the dethroned Miss Universe 2002 also earned some musical distinctions including "Duet of the Year" award with Russian singer Nikolay Baskov for their single "Love is Right". The duo also received Golden Gramophone Award, Russia's top music award.
If Russian organizers for ESC will confirm that they will send a delegate in 2012, Fedorova might join, says our sources. Possible Fedorova's entry will be entitled "Na Shag Odin" (Step by Step).
Meanwhile, current Miss Supranational 2011 titleholder Monika Lewczuk might also join the selection for Poland's representative to ESC. Twenty-three year-old Lewczuk is a model but with great interest in singing. She already released her version of Beyonce's "If Ain't Got You" and "Baby Boy", and Alicia Keys' "Fallin'"
It is not yet confirmed if Russia and Poland will participate in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. Last year's winner of ESC was Azerbaijani duo Ell and Nikki with their song "Running Scared".
