PAGEANT UPDATES: Miss Costa Rica 2012 is Nazareth Cascante!


Twenty-one-year-old Nazareth Cascante (photo) was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2012 Friday evening, April 13. The 1.73 m. beauty from Tambor will represent Costa Rica at Miss Universe 2012 to be held lter this year. She succeeded Johanna Solano, who became a top 10 finalist in last year's Miss Universe which was won by Leila Lopes of Angola.

Meanwhile, first runner-up was Ivonne Cerdas while Maria Cristina Lizano named second runner-up.
