PAGEANT UPDATES: Miyagi girl wins Miss Universe Japan 2012!


TOKYO, Japan - 24-year-old Ayako Hara (photo) has been crowned Miss Universe Japan 2012 in a pageant finale held on April 1. Hara, who lives in Miyagi prefecture, stands 1.70 m. tall. She will represent Japan at Miss Universe 2012 to be held later this year.

Sora Yoshimura and Yukimi Matsui named first and second runners-up respectively.
